Define a clear scope, review each selected tab, and confirm a controlled bulk close from Deletion Mode.
Switch to DeutschDeletion Mode adds selection boxes so you can close a reviewed set of tabs in one confirmed operation. The same selection bar also offers Sleep and Wake for eligible tabs — see Sleep and wake tabs.
Use Select all only after checking that scope. Deselect all clears the selection without closing tabs.
Scan every selected title and pay particular attention to:
Activate uncertain tabs before closing. If the selection is large, save the current session to retain a record of URLs, groups, and window layout.
Close all tabs except active and its Alt+Shift+K shortcut are broader focus actions. Use them only when retaining a single active tab is explicitly your goal.
There is no dedicated Deletion Mode undo in this version. Immediately use Chrome's Reopen closed tab or recently closed history for an accidental closure, repeating it as needed.
Recovered pages may not regain unsaved form, application, or media state. If a saved session is your only recovery record, review the restore replacement warning before loading it.
