Tab Organizer 1.0.0
A major release since 0.4.8: live Group Mirror Mode, manual Sleep and Wake, three ways to open the app, plus a local rules and backup toolkit. Still no account.
Added
- Group Mirror Mode (now the default): See and edit your real Chrome tab groups — live. Create, rename, reorder, move tabs, collapse, and dissolve. Same-named groups from every window read as one list. Removing a group only ungroups it; tabs stay open. Cannot run together with Tab Groups Sync.
- Manual Sleep and Wake: Free memory on your command — one tab, a whole group, or everything with Zzz. No timers, no auto-suspend. The tab you are looking at stays awake.
- Popup, Side Panel, or a dedicated window: Same UI, your choice. First-run asks once; change it any time in Settings. The Side Panel stays open while you browse.
- Rules and workspaces: Tab Rules, Context Profiles, editable group names and extra domains, Giant-Group Splitter, and signed local community-pack import — all on this device.
- Backups, Undo, and migration: JSON product backups, recovery snapshots with Undo before close-all or dissolve, and on-device import from Session Buddy, OneTab, or Toby. Configurable six-slot toolbar and a keyboard-shortcut overlay (?).
Changed
- Frequency View is now Windows View. It groups tabs by browser window and shows local view counts and last-access times.
- Tab Groups Sync is marked Beta. Automatic grouping is still available, but exclusive with Mirror. New installs start in Mirror.
- Selection instead of deletion-only: mark tabs to Sleep, Wake, or Close in one step. Duplicate review and rarely-visited recommendations remain. Sessions still save multi-window layouts, now with native group names and Undo on destructive paths.
